(Most) chords on guitar

Here is a list of all (or most) guitar chords for the guitar. Of course, as always, there are many more Voicings that can be played. I’ve just written down the most common ones.

The root note can be shifted up and down (don’t forget to shift up/down the other ones as well!) to adjust the chord. Using the red note, which should mark the root note, we can determine the chord. Wherever the red note is, that’s the name of the chord.

If the red note is on a C, the chord is called C. If the red note is on an E, the chord is called E. The only thing left is the ending of the chord, such as Major, Minor, or Maj7.
